During practice hours, we endeavour to see any patient who has a dental emergency within 24 hours.

Should you have a dental emergency outside the normal practice hours, please telephone 111 which will put you in contact with the out of hours dental service. You may not see your usual dentist but they will aim to deal with the immediate problem.

Please call at 9 am for an emergency appointment within 24 hrs.

What is a dental emergency?

Dental emergencies might include the following:

  • Large facial swelling
  • Trauma (especially children)
  • Tooth ache for more than one day that is continuous and won’t subside with painkillers.
  • Uncontrolled and continuous bleeding (possibly following tooth extraction)
